A published report in the Dashboard includes a button that allows you view its source report. This gives you the ability to edit reports that have already been published, which would be useful if you wanted to change the attribute that the report is sorted by, adjust the column order, and moreor make any other changes.
As long as you have access to the source report reports you will see this an edit button above each report in the dashboardDashboard. Clicking this button takes to the view tab of the report builder tool.

From here you can select click the Edit button to change the report itself. Changes made to the report will be reflected in the published dashboard report. For more information about editing a custom report see: Custom Reporting.
Clicking on the Publishing button will allow you If you want to change the publishing settings, like who the dashboard report is shared with or the published name, you can click the Publishing button, which we will look into next.

After clicking on the Publishing button, you will then see this pagesee the small window in the image below. Make sure to select View Published Tables and Charts and then find the table or chart you want to edit and select click the Edit button under the actions Actions column.
This will take you to the same page that you would see if you were publishing the chart for the first time.

The second option under Actions is to Delete the report from the Dashboard. This will remove it from the Dashboard, but the source report will not be deleted itself.
