Due to the newer map technology, older devices and operating systems may experience loading issues.

Hard Reset Your Device

If you’re experiencing these issues, try hard resetting your device. To hard reset an iPad, you can press and hold the following buttons until the Apple logo appears:

  • iPads with a Home button: Press and hold the Home and Top buttons simultaneously

  • iPads without a Home button: Press and release the Volume Up button, then press and release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Top button 

A hard reset clears the memory used by the operating system and apps, but it doesn't erase your data.

Set Layers to Inactive

We also recommend setting any layers you will rarely use to “Inactive”. This should help to free up processing power for the layers you need. For more information, see Setting Layers to Inactive from our Support Portal documentation.
