Overview

The Data Transfer Utilities, located in the side toolbar, will allow you to download your inventoried data in Shapefile, Access, or Excel format. It will also allow you to upload data using either Excel or .csv formatted files.

This feature can only be accessed by users having the proper Upload/Download Data permissions configured in their user account. Please contact an Admin in your system if you’d like to request access to this feature.

Data Downloads

After opening the Data Transfer tool, you can select which type of file you would like. This opens another form where you can select the specific data layer(s) you would like to download.

Downloading a Shapefile or Excel file only allows you to download one layer at a time, which can be started by simply clicking on the layer name.

Downloading an Access file allows you to select multiple layers. To do so, select the layer(s) you want included in the Access download, and click the ‘Submit’ button.

You can choose to download the entire dataset (default) or only the sites that you currently have selected on your map by using the radio buttons located right above the layer names.

Photo Review

The photo review is a quick method for checking all the uploaded photos in the system. After selecting this we are presented with a form to fill out some criteria to help filter down which photos we were looking for. After specifying the values, we can view our photos.

Photo Review: Buttons

At the top of Photo Review there are also a set of buttons that can allow you to edit any selected photos in different ways. From left to right they are Rotate Photo Left, Rotate Photo Right, Toggle Guest Access, Download Photo, Delete Photo, Restore Photo and Clear Selection. They do the following:

  • Rotate Photo Left: Rotates selected photo 90 degrees to the left

  • Rotate Photo Right: Rotates selected photo 90 degrees to the right

  • Toggle Guest Access: toggles whether or not a guest can view the selected photo

  • Download Photo: Downloads the selected Photo

  • Delete Photo: Deletes the selected Photo

  • Restore Photo: Will restore a selected deleted photo if you have deleted photos set as shown

  • Clear Selection: Clears your current selection

Import/Update

TreeKeeper also allows you to import and update data. When you select Import/Update you will be asked to select an external data source and then you will be prompted to select a file from your device. Rover Utilities

The first three options in the example to the right, create subscriptions, manage subscriptions, and API logs, are all utilities to help with Rover. If you do not see these that means that Rover is not currently enabled on your TreeKeeper. This is the norm as nearly all TreeKeeper systems are delivered with Rover turned off.
