Overview

The Report Builder’s Matrix Reports tab allows you to create a different kind of report by simply comparing one attribute in the system against another. The report returns a breakdown of how data for on attribute is distributed across the other attribute.

Each count shown is also a clickable link, which will to select those sites on the map and populate the Data Grid.


Building a Matrix Report

  1. Open the Report Builder and click Matrix Reports in the top-left corner.

  2. Choose the data layer.

  3. Choose the two attributes you would like to view in the matrix report. After choosing both attributes, the report should generate.

    1. Attribute 1 will be the rows in the report.

    2. Attribute 2 will be the columns in the report.

If you want to swap the rows and columns, you can click the Swap button in the middle.

Clicking on any of the counts in the report will select those sites on the map and populate the data grid.

Exporting

The matrix report data can be exported by clicking the menu icon (blue star) and choosing your preferred file type: CSV, Excel, or PDF.
