Overview of New Features / Improvements
Improvements on Assigning Work Records to Work Orders
Adjustments were made to allow the user to change associations to work orders on the work record edit screen. Before this was only available while creating a work record, which made correcting mistakenly assigned work records very difficult.
The procedure was also adjusted in both the “add work record” and “edit work record” portions of the application making it much easier to manipulate work records when assigned to multiple work orders.
Streamlined applying Rules in response to completing a work record.
While creating a new work record in a “completed” status, a user can now apply a rule to the associated site upon submitting the work record.
This streamlines data entry by making it a one-step rather than two-step process.
Pop-out Grids Open to a New Tab on iOS devices
Users of both the iPad and desktop systems should be pleased to know that if you “pop-out” the site matches grid on iOS devices it will now open in a new tab. Users can now switch between tabs to work within the grid vs. working within the map. This is a great improvement for customers with limited screen space while in the field!
