Automatic Loading of Benefits

We identified that the iTree Eco Benefits were being calculated on every page load, even if the user was not looking at the Benefits panel. To help ease server capacity and lower load times we updated the iTree Eco Benefits to be calculated when viewing the Benefits Panel. Because of this change, there might be a slight delay in information being displayed.

Sites Selected and Calculated

A few users reported that the new iTree Eco Benefits showed ALL Calculated Trees when making a selection, which is not the same as the previous iTree Street Benefits.

Now when making a selection the Benefits Panel will show the Calculated Trees and Selected Sites values. Calculated Trees are valid species that have benefits, i.e. They are not vacant sites, stumps, or retired sites.
