Summary
This week’s release focuses on refining user experience while adding and editing work records. Also included are updates to expand the software’s in-line quality control features while adding an “associated” work record from the add/edit site form.
Highlights
New Functionality for Custom Work Attributes!
When performing a global edit to a group of work records, users have three new options for text based attributes. Now, you can choose to append, replace, or remove the existing text!
Enhanced In-Line Quality Control While Adding/Editing Sites
Previously, users did not receive an error message when a required attribute was left blank under certain unique circumstances. For example, after applying a rule that adds an associated work record to the site.
Now, users will be prompted to fill out blank required fields!
Previously, the Issue feature in TreeKeeper would only account for the missing required fields at the Site level. This is meant to improve Quality Control and Tree Data Integrity.
Now, the Issues feature will account for Work Attributes as well. If you opt to add a new Work Record while you are Adding or Editing a Site, the Issues will count the required Work Attributes.
Also, clicking or pressing the Issues button will link directly to the topmost required attribute. Clicking and editing each Site and Work attribute is a quick and easy way to QC your site and work task!
