The With this release, the conversation style tagged work commenting and optional Custom Work Attributes and Work Comments have been phased development has now concluded and these features are now fully integrated into TreeKeeper! In this release, you will see Other than the standard bug fixes and visual upgrades. The Search Tool has especially been affected by the release, featuring easier Work Order search, and Quick Filter User Groups. You will also be able to use the Admin Center to add list values for the Custom Work Attributes in your TreeKeeper system.improvements, work order searching and Quick Filter permissions have also gotten attention!

You can now use the Admin Center to add and remove list values from the new Custom Work Attributes. Please see this documentation for more information on “Custom Work Attribute List Management”.As mentioned in previous blog posts, clients can now request custom attributes be added to your work records! This final phase implemented the ability for administrative users to manage lists associated to these attributes from the Admin Center (please reference this documentation).

An example of a custom work attribute you may want to consider requesting would be a “Work Result” attribute having associated list values like “Completed” and “Denied”, which could track whether any work was performed regardless of work record’s “Completed” status. You may also want to add a “Denied Reason” open text attribute to track why requested work may have been denied.

Work Comment Criteria in Reports!

Users now have the ability to filter a report to only those records having specific work comments! Regardless to capitalization, any string within a work comment can be set in the Criteria section while adding or editing a report!

Work Order Name dropdown

The By popular demand, the Work Order Name dropdown list has now returned to the Search Tool! If the open Work Orders do not exceed 500 in total, then the dropdown list will be available for searching. Otherwise, if the Work Orders do exceed 500 in total, there will be a text search feature for the Work Order name. We had previously switched to a ‘type-ahead’ box which required a user to begin typing to populate a dropdown list of work orders. While this was necessary for clients having a very long list of work orders, those with fewer than 500 open work orders will now get to choose from a dropdown without having to type anything!

Quick Filter User Groups!

Quick Filters have now incorporated User Groups into the Filter Add/Edit screen. Any User Group that has been added in via the Admin Center’s Group Management link now will be available in for any Quick Filter. For more information on how to create or edit a Quick Filter, please refer to this documentation.
