Layer Navigation

With the new layer navigation users can:

  • Reorder Layers

  • Hide Layers

  • Set Layer to Inactive

Reordering Layers

Now users can change the order of all their layers to their liking on the fly. The order is reflected on the map, so layers at the top will display over any active layers below it.

Because of that functionality, we suggest having Reference Layers at the bottom and Layers above.

Hide Layer

Select the “Eye” icon if you want to hide a layer. This will keep it active but not show on the map.

Set a Layer to Inactive

Select the “X” icon to move the layer out of the active layers section. This is helpful for larger systems that have different teams that work on different data/features.

If you need to reactivate the layers, just select the “+” icon in the Inactive Layers list.

Inactive Layers

Layers that a user marks as inactive will be separated into 3 different groups. Layers, Reference Layers, and Selected Layers.

Layers are all the data-based layers in the system. They have been given a green icon to denote on the left-hand side.

Reference Layers are used to store information that doesn’t change often, City Limits or Wards.

Selected Layers are the way TreeKeeper shows sites that are available in the data grid. Selected from the map or searches.
