Overview
The Data Transfer Utilities, located in the side toolbar, will allow you to download your inventoried data in Shapefile, Access, or Excel format. It will also allow you to upload data using either Excel or .csv formatted files.
sidebar of TreeKeeper, provides data download options, the File Review tool, and the Import / Update tool.

Data Downloads
After opening the Data Transfer tool, you can select which file type of file you would like to download data in. This opens another form where you can select the specific data layer(s) you would like to download.
Downloading a Shapefile or Excel file only allows you to download one layer at a time, which can be started by simply clicking on the layer name.
Downloading an Access a Geodatabase file allows you to select multiple layers. To do so, select click the check-box next to the layer(s) you want included in the Access download, and then click the ‘Submit’ button.
You can choose to download the entire dataset (default) or only the sites that you currently have selected on your map by using the radio buttons located right above the layer names.
Downloading Selected Sites
To download a specific set of sites in Shapefile, Excel, or Geodatabase format, start by selecting the sites you would like to download by running a search or quick filter, Showing Checkmarked Sites in a report, or using a map tool. Once the desired sites have been selected, open Data Transfer Utilities, choose your preferred file type, and you should see options just above the list of data layers. Those options allow you to choose between Entire Layer or Map Selected for Shapefile and Excel downloads, or Use your selected sites for Geodatabase downloads.

The resulting downloads will include all attributes in the system and will show the attribute’s Interface Name rather than the Display Name. If you would rather choose which attributes will be in the download and/or have the Display Name in the download, we recommend customizing the Data Grid and exporting the data through the Data Grid. |
File Review
The Photo File Review tool is a quick method for viewing all of the uploaded photos in the way to view all uploaded files in your TreeKeeper system. After clicking on Photo File Review in Data Transfer Utilities, you are presented will then have to specify the sites you want to view the files for and decide if you want to view deleted files as well.
Map Selected: this will return files for the sites that are currently selected on the map. This feature is good to pair with a search, quick filter, map selection, etc.
Custom Search: a form where you can fill out add some criteria. This can be used to filter down the data down and show only show photos files belonging to the sites that match the chosen criteria.

After specifying the criteria, click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the form . This will display the photosand the files will be displayed. See the next section for some of the functions you have access to on this screen.

File Review Functions
After clicking Submit, you will see a set of buttons at the top of File Review that allow you to perform certain actions on any selected photosfiles.
From left to right those buttons are Rotate Photo Left, Rotate Photo Right, Toggle Guest Access, Download Photo, Delete Photo, Restore Photo and Clear Selection.

Rotate Photo Left: Rotates selected photo 90 degrees to the left (counterclockwise).
Rotate Photo Right: Rotates selected photo 90 degrees to the right (clockwise).
Toggle Guest Access: Toggles whether or not a guest can view the selected
file.
Note: Even if you use this function on a file, guests will not be able to see it unless guest access for files has been enabled for the TreeKeeper system as a whole.
Download File: Downloads the selected
file.
Delete
File: Deletes the selected
file.
Restore
File: Will restore
the selected deleted
file.
Clear Selection: Clears your current selection.
You can also click the ‘View Site’ button beneath
a given file to view the site
that file is associated with.
In order to use
any of the functions described above, you must have one or more
files selected.
To select a
file, click the check-box in the top-right corner of the
file preview. This will turn the box surrounding the
file green, indicating that it is selected.
Import/Update
TreeKeeper also allows you to import or update data. When you select ‘Import/Update’ you will be asked to select an external data source and then you will be prompted to select the file containing the data from a location on your device. Rover Utilities
The first three options in the example to the right, create subscriptions, manage subscriptions, and API logs, are all If there is an ongoing Rover collection in your TreeKeeper system, you may see three additional features in Data Transfer Utilities. Those features (Create Subscriptions, Manage Subscriptions, and API Logs) are utilities to help with Rover. If you do not see these, that means that Rover is not currently enabled on your TreeKeeper. This is the norm , which is expected as nearly all TreeKeeper systems are delivered with Rover turned offdisabled.
