Map Frame

The Map Frame has a number of tools and information that can be used to explore the canopy study data. This section will describe each one as they relate to the user experience.

Address Search: Type in an address to search the location. Map will zoom to the area.

Basemap: Background image or street data. This data is sourced from ESRI basemaps.

Basemap Toggle: Change the background basemap for viewing.

Data Layer: Active data layer shown in the map.

Home: Brings the user back to the full extent.

Legend: Symbology and values for each category of data.

Scale Bar: Extent of map view.

Zoom: Allows users to move in and out. This can also be done by using the scroll wheel on the mouse.
