Duplicate Site Checker & Auto Sequencing

Duplicate Site Checker & Auto Sequencing

Clients using the Davey TreeKeeper System can opt-in to have access to our Auto Sequencing feature which determines which addressing fields are being tracked and provides the client with re-sequencing options. This is often used by clients who track a numeric “Site” attribute as part of a feature’s addressing information.

Typically the number represents a sequence number (from 1 to n) which increments along the flow of traffic for each side of a property. The issue comes when these “Site” numbers become Duplicated or are out-of-sequence when a site is removed or added (EX: removed site #2 when from site sequence 1, 2, 3 would leave the sequence as 1 and 3). To help keep this from happening, the Auto Sequencing feature will provide a user with options while adding/editing a site if it detects an issue.
