Additional Features
TreeKeeper comes with some additional navigation features that may be helpful.
A - Center Me
When you open TreeKeeper for the first time, it will ask for permission to access your location. If you permit access, the “Center Me” button will re-center the map around your current location.
B - Follow Me
The “Follow Me” button will center the map on your location and it will continue to be centered there while you move.
C - Anchor Me
The “Anchor Me” button will lock the map to a single area. It will no longer resize or pan after a search, and it won't follow you on a mobile device.
D - Google Street View
This Google Maps feature allows you to drag the character named “Pegman” onto the map. If there are Google Street View locations nearby, you can drop Pegman and Google Street View will open up, allowing you to explore the area.
E - Mobile View
Mobile View was designed for mobile devices with the major visual differences being the location of the map controls covered above and the location of other main functions like Layers, Search, Map Tools and the Menu.
The Layers, Search, and Tools buttons are all very similar in functionality to the desktop view, but the menu button is new.
Clicking on ‘Menu’ will reveal a few other familiar functions including the Homepage, Support Portal, and the Login/Logout buttons. The Full Version button take you back to the full desktop version of TreeKeeper.
The mobile view has limited functionality as it’s designed for use on a site-by-site basis. For more detailed information on the mobile view, see TreeKeeper Mobile Mode.
F - Support Portal
The Support Portal button opens a small window and provides you two links. The first link sends you to the DRG Support Portal where you can find all of our documentation, tutorial videos, and contact information. The second link allows you to submit a ticket for assistance.
